How to Choose Shower Glass Hinges, Connectors and Seals

Short answer: Pick hinges by what the door hangs from: wall-to-glass hinges for a door on a wall, glass-to-glass hinges for a door on a fixed panel, at 90°, 135° or 180°. Fix static panels with clamps or connectors, brace tall single panels with a stabiliser rod, and match magnetic seals to the angle where the door closes.

Step 1: Hinges

If the door hangs from a wall, use wall to glass 90° hinges (GSH-11), or the offset version (GSH-11-HP). If it hangs from a fixed glass panel, use glass to glass hinges: 90° for corners (GSH-14), 135° for angled enclosures (GSH-13), 180° for inline screens (GSH-12).

Step 2: Fixing static panels

Fixed panels are held with clamps and connectors, such as the wall to glass 90° fixed clamp (GSH-15) or glass connectors at 90°, 135° and 180°.

Step 3: Bracing

A single tall panel clamped only at the bottom and one side needs a stabiliser rod. Use the 19 mm rod with wall to rod and rod to glass connectors.

Step 4: Seals

Use a wall seal where glass meets the wall, a soft nose or D seal on the door's closing edge, and a magnetic seal (90°, 135° or 180°) where the door should close firmly.
