Hinges for Aluminium Profile Shutters
Aluminium profile shutters need hinges made for the profile's narrow section. Standard wood-cabinet hinges do not fit. The crank number sets how the shutter sits against the cabinet side: 0 crank for full overlay, 8 crank for half overlay, 16 crank for inset shutters.
Glassics supplies 0 crank, 8 crank and 16 crank profile hinges, and a mini floor spring (PH-MFS) for light profile and glass doors that should swing and self-centre.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between 0 crank, 8 crank and 16 crank hinges?
Crank is how much the hinge arm is bent, which decides where the shutter sits. 0 crank is for full overlay (the shutter covers the side panel), 8 crank for half overlay (two shutters share one side panel), and 16 crank for inset shutters that sit inside the carcass.
